"We visited Bean Point Beach around sunset and really enjoyed it. The sunset views are excellent, and there were lots of birds around. Watching pelicans dive into the water to catch fish was especially fun. What makes this beach unique is that it’s not overly crowded, likely because parking is limited and there are no restrooms nearby. Because of that, it feels more like a local spot than a tourist-heavy attraction. The white sand is beautiful, but what really stands out is the curved, almost circular shoreline, which is different from the usual straight beach line. It gives the beach a distinct look and makes for great photos, especially drone shots. A few practical things to know: • Parking is very limited. There are only a few designated spots near the beach, and enforcement is strict. We saw sheriff vehicles driving around, so don’t risk parking outside marked areas. • No restrooms nearby. If you plan to stay for a while, plan ahead. The closest public restroom is on the east side of the island, and there are restaurants a bit farther away. Overall, a great place for sunset, bird watching, and a quieter beach experience — just plan ahead for parking and restrooms."
"Wow! Visited this place mid-November and it couldn't be more perfect. The water was slightly cool, had to keep moving to stay warm. There were so many seashells, full ones! My daughter was able to save full sand dollars for her scrapbook. The sand is so soft, it feels like kids kinetic sand! So powdery, the sunset left us speechless. Come see this beautiful spot."
"We absolutely love Anna Maria! Bean Point Beach is absolutely stunning! It’s a family friendly beach… quiet, clean and so much great things to do on the island. The waters are crystal clear on good days and great for family with small kids since there aren’t really big waves (at least when we’ve gone). We’ve been to many beaches on the west coast of the Gulf, and AMI is our #1 fave. Take the trip… so worth it!"
Sunset offers the most spectacular views and photo opportunities, but visit in mid-November for pleasant water temperatures and abundant seashells.
Plan ahead for limited parking; enforcement is strict, so stick to designated spots. Consider bringing everything you need, as there are no restrooms directly on site. For public restrooms or dining, you'll need to venture a bit further onto the island.
